Greetings from the GDLN Global Secretariat!

The year 2024 was an exciting year for the GDLN community, marked by the launch of the GDLN micro-credentials program and the hosting of the Global Board and the GDLN Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Davao, Philippines. As we reflect on the year, we are excited to usher in another productive year of learning and sharing with the GDLN community.

This year's newsletter highlights the diverse and significant contributions from our GDLN affiliates, showcasing their impactful work throughout 2024 and what to anticipate in 2025. Your stories and updates are vital to our community, and we encourage you to continue sharing them through the GDLN Global Secretariat, your respective Regional Secretariats, our Facebook page, and at gdlnglobal.org.

We are also pleased to announce a significant leadership change within our network. Professor Haiyoung Yun, Assistant Dean of External Relations at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, who has served as the Head of the GDLN Global Secretariat since 2014, has been unanimously recommended by the GDLN Global Board to serve as the new Chair.?? Professor Yun is dedicated to working with GDLN and its Global Board to ensure a sustainable and bright future for the network. In particular, she is excited to work with her predecessor Prof. Glenn Withers, who was invaluable in his role as the Chair, and who will remain as an Independent Member.
